Mission and Goals

The primary responsibility of the faculty members is to ensure high-quality and comprehensive education for master's students in the following fields of study: 60220300 – History (by countries and directions), 60310100 – Political Science, 60920100 – Social Work, 60220600 – Anthropology and Ethnology, 60310400 – Sociology, as well as 70220301 – History (by directions and types of activities), in accordance with the curricula and based on a scientific-methodological approach, utilizing modern and integrative teaching methods. During the educational process, faculty members not only impart theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills, engage students in independent scientific research activities, foster critical thinking, and teach scientific methodology and research techniques. This process is carried out through the use of innovative pedagogical technologies, information and communication tools, and interactive methods. Furthermore, faculty members actively conduct scientific research within their respective fields. These studies aim at a thorough examination of theoretical and practical problems in contemporary history, political science, social work, anthropology, ethnology, and sociology. The research outputs include scientific articles, monographs, methodological manuals, and educational materials that meet international standards. The faculty's scientific activities are strengthened through the development of international and national scientific collaborations, active participation in conferences and symposiums, as well as the implementation of grant projects. In addition, faculty members play a crucial role in the upbringing of students and young researchers, contributing to their moral, ethical, and cultural development. They organize not only academic instruction but also spiritual and educational work aimed at fostering patriotism, human rights, social justice, and national values. Cultural and educational events, scientific-practical seminars, round tables, social projects, and community activities hold a significant place in this process.
